Arrive Polonia Airport of Medan and transfer to your hotel. There rest of the day is at leisure for you to relax or perhaps do some sightseeing at your own pace. Overnight at the Garuda Plaza in Medan or at similar.

After breakfast, depart for a short city tour of Medan. Then proceed transfer to Parapat via the mountainous road of Berastagi. Enroute visit Peceren Village to see the a glimpse of the way of life of the Karo Batak Tribe and their typical houses, Fruit stands in Berastagi, lunch at restaurant in Berastagi, Tongging Hill to view the Northern part of Lake Toba and Sipisopiso Waterfall, and Pematang Purba to see the long house (Ruma Bolon) which was belonged to the royal families of the Simalungun Batak tribe. On arrival in Parapat, proceed by the regular boat, cruising on Lake Toba to the central isle of Samosir where colorful Toba Batak villages cling to the shore. Our hotel, for 2 nights is the Silintong in Samosir Island.

A day tours by boat. Cruising on Lake Toba to visit Tomok Village where carved statues stand in an ancient graveyard as memorial to the kings of bygone days, and chance to hunt souvenir. Proceed by boat to Ambarita Village to see the stone furniture as the remnant of the megalithic culture of the Toba Batak. Then visiting Simanindo Village to see the long house of the Toba Batak King, which now has become a museum, and a chance to watch Toba Batak folk dance that performed by the villagers. Finally to Tao Island for lunch and swim in the tranquil water of Lake Toba. The remainder of the day is at leisure.
After breakfast, transfer by boat to Parapat. It is followed by a leisurely morning drive along the Bukit Barisan, the mountain ranges, which run the entire length of Sumatra. Enroute visit Lumban Binanga to see a typical village of the Toba Batak tribe, market place in Balige, and Tarutung, a small town located in Silindung Valley, for lunch. Our hotels, is Natama in Padang Sidempuan or Torsibohi Cottage in Sipirok, 30 km before Padang Sidempuan.
Breakfast at the hotel. Then continue driving through the same mountain range of Bukit Barisan to Bukittinggi. Stop will be made at Usortolang Village to see the remnant of the Mandailing Batak typical houses, Purba Village, Bonjol Village where the equator line crosses. Lunch will be served enroute. Our hotel for 2 nights is the lovely Pusako Hotel Accommodation at hotel in Bukittinggi.

We begin with a fabulous sightseeing in Bukittinggi featuring Sianok Canyon, Fort de Kock known as one of the remnants of the Dutch Colonial Government, museum and the colorful Pasar Atas or upper market. Tour proceed to Batusangkar being a lively and scenic town surrounded by a majestic rice terraces where local countryside is dotted with Rumah Adat, en-route stop at Pagaruyung to see the palace, which was rebuilt on the ruin of the bygone Pagaruyung Empire, Lima Kaum to see the stabbed and inscribed stone of the past king. Lunch at the local restaurant with the Minangkabau typical cuisines. Then drives up over the low crater wall and down to Singkarak Lake passing through the charming hilltop village of Balimbing, and the fantastic view of Anai Valley. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax.
Travel to Embun Pagi Viewpoint to view the beautiful scenery of Lake Maninjau. Then drive three hours to Padang, the capital city of West Sumatera province, en route stopover at Anai Valley to enjoy and witness the beauty and greenery of Anai Valley Park. Arrive in Padang, city tour, then check in hotel.
